Course Overview
What is Vital?
Vital is a comprehensive education course, ideal for medical specialists, mental health professionals, therapists, and wellness practitioners seeking to integrate psychedelic knowledge into their practice.
No specific licenses or prerequisites are required, though prior experience with non-ordinary states of consciousness and some educational background in psychedelics is recommended.
Application and Certificate
Upon completing the program and all prerequisites, students receive a Certificate in Integrative Psychedelic Studies. There is an option to specialize in one of five areas:
Regenerative Business & Leadership
Depth & Jungian Perspectives
Somatics & Trauma
Spiritual Emergence
Microdosing
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis with preference given to early applicants.

Course Delivery and Structure
Vital is entirely remote, requiring a reliable internet connection and a device capable of streaming video. The program begins May 6th, 2025 and includes:
Weekly Live Classes: 2-hour lectures and Q&A sessions.
Study Groups: Weekly 90-minute sessions in small groups.
Supplementary Materials: Reading, videos, and podcasts.
Recorded Content: All lectures are available for review at any time.
Interactive Community: Access to an online platform for peer interaction and support.
Students must attend at least 80% of the study groups to remain in the program and successfully graduate. The program starts on May 6th, 2025, and runs until April 2026.
Fees
The total tuition is $10,500. A non-refundable payment is required within two weeks of acceptance to secure your spot. Payment plans are available through Affirm and Afterpay. An Early Bird discount of $2,000 is available for payments made by February 7th. Regional taxes may apply.
Continuing Education Credits
Students may be eligible for up to 68 Continuing Education (CE) credits upon completion, pending approval. CE credits are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) and are accepted by various professional boards. Time Commitment
Expect to spend at least 3.5 hours per week in live classes and study groups, plus an additional 2 hours per week on supplementary materials. Regular journaling and reflection are encouraged to support personal integration.

You will be awarded a Certificate in Integrative Psychedelic Studies. There is also an option to receive a specialization in one of five areas: Regenerative Business & Leadership, Depth & Jungian Perspectives, Somatics & Trauma, Spiritual Emergence, and Microdosing.

No, this certificate does not grant any new legal authorizations regarding psychedelic use. It expands your competence and confidence but does not grant legal qualifications or vocational accreditations.

No license or prerequisites are required. The program is designed for individuals looking for a community and structure within which to integrate psychedelic knowledge into their personal and professional lives.
While many alumni are clinical professionals and holistic wellness practitioners who serve clients, the program is not limited to licensed mental health professionals or practitioners already seeing clients.

Course Delivery

All classes are 100% digital, requiring no travel. Students need a reliable internet connection and a device capable of streaming videos and videoconferencing.
Experiential elective is a requirement of the program, and students are able to fulfill this requirement in a way that aligns with the experience the wish to have. Some students opt to travel to fulfill this requirement, but it is not mandatory.
Additionally, the Vital team frequently attends psychedelic conferences and events around the world and will often organize meet-ups for Vital students and alumni. While these meet-ups are not required, we’d love to see you if you can make it!

All lectures are recorded and available for review. However, in order to graduate students must attend at least 80% of study groups.

Mandatory course materials are digital and open source. Some optional resources may require purchase, but this is at the student's discretion.

You will have access to the majority of recordings, resource lists, curriculum, and online community networks.
Some presentations may only be available for a limited time due to licensing agreements.
