  • Sara Reed


    Sara Reed is the lead Psychedelic Research Therapist at Imperial College London. She has spent her early career examining how culture influences how we diagnose and treat mental illness. Sara’s prior research work includes participation as a study therapist for a Phase 2 MDMA clinical study of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) sponsored by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

  • Glauber Loures de Assis


    Dr. Glauber Loures de Assis is Associate Director of Chacruna Latinoamérica in Brazil, with a Ph.D. in sociology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He is a Research Associate at NEIP in Brazil, focusing on ayahuasca religions, new religious movements, Brazilian religious internationalization, and drug use in contemporary society. He has authored numerous articles, co-edited Mujeres y Psicodélicos (2022), and has 15 years of experience as an ayahuasca practitioner.

  • Luis Eduardo Luna


    Luis Eduardo Luna is the Director of Wasiwaska, a research center in Brazil focused on psychointegrator plants, visionary art, and consciousness. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion from Stockholm University and has lectured worldwide on indigenous and mestizo shamanism. Dr. Luna has authored and co-authored several key works on ayahuasca and shamanism, including Vegetalismo and Ayahuasca Visions. He has been recognized with a Guggenheim Fellowship and an honorary doctorate from St. Lawrence University.

    Dr. Melanie Pincus is a neuroscientist with a B.S. from Stanford University, and Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, and the co-founder of a psychedelics research institute based in Denver.

  • Kwasi Adusei


    `Dr. Kwasi Adusei, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and co-founder of the Psychedelic Society of Western New York. He led the development of the Sanctuary Project, a grassroots psychedelic harm reduction organization. Informed by his personal and professional experiences with the war on drugs and community mental health, Dr. Adusei is an educator and community organizer. He currently serves as Senior Prescriber on the medical team at Journey Clinical.
